MANILA, Philippines ā€” Manila Water Company is spending P500 million to build a new water facility in Taguig City that will benefit an estimated 1.5 million residents in Taguig City where there is long-term water demand.

The Capistrano Facility, located in Barangay Hagonoy, Taguig, included a pump station and a reservoir that will treat 10 million liters of water per day.

It will provide clean and potable water to 300,000 households living in the barangays of Upper, Lower, and Central Bicutan, Bagumbayan and Bagong Tanyag once it is completed in July 2013.
