US call center firm opens Taguig office


ILLINOIS-BASED call center company Afni, Inc. has opened a new office in the country, marking another investment in the Philippines whose voice outsourcing industry grew by nearly half last year, a statement on Friday said.

The company said it opened its facility in Taguig City last Aug. 7 offering both call center and back office services.

The company is aiming to leverage on the country’s experience in outsourcing as it builds its global brand, said Doug Jones, president of Afni’s Philippine operations.
