FOOD TERMINAL, INC. (FTI) is back on the auction block, with the government looking to sell 74 hectares of the 103-hectare industrial complex for no less than P10.248 billion.
“The Privatization Management Office (PMO) is offering for sale through public bidding… certain commercial/industrial lots… including the buildings and improvement erected thereon… located within the FTI complex, Taguig City,” an invitation to bid, published on Monday in national newspapers,read.
The highest acceptable financial offer will win the auction, the notice read. Any proposal that falls below the P10.248-billion base price will automatically be disqualified.
The winning bidder can opt for installments — with an upfront payment of P2.203 billion — or settle in full on or before January 30,2016.
